A real estate mom just trying to keep the balance

I know what it’s like to hold together a marriage, two kids, a maid (sometimes), school activities, visits to the gym, staging houses, marketing mailers, drinks with the girls, late nights, early morning’s, runny noses, benefit dinners, challenging sellers and wary buyers.

My experiences have shaped my life into something not common. There isn’t a guidebook to the kind of lives I lead. This blog will serve as a resource for working moms in Metro DC, especially the areas of Spring Valley, Wesley Heights, Palisades, Kent and American University Park.

This blog reclaims the feelings of desperation, frustration, anger, and humiliation and happiness that we experience on a daily basis with our kids, our husbands and our work. In doing so, it reminds us that what doesn’t seem funny at the time, really is.

In the end, it’s all about that balance.
